Gelato, pastries, coffees, sandwiches - oh my!

Rocambolesc Gelateria was born in 2012 by the Roca brothers, owners of El Celler de Can Roca, a three Michelin-starred restaurant in Girona, Spain.

The Roca brothers along with their pastry chef, Jordi Roca, have opened their first eclectic gelateria in the US at Uptown Park.

Over the years, Rocambolesc’s gelato is inspired by the desserts of Jordi Roca, as well as a trip, an aroma, a product or a memory. You can create your own “experience” with creative combinations of their toppings and flavors.

Rocambolesc means “extraordinary and unlikely” and the shop evokes a fantasy world for all ages. A cult favorite in Spain, Rocambolesc also serves popsicles in shapes like a nose, gelato served in a hot brioche.

Rocambolesc has partnered with The Center for Pursuit in Houston, the most advanced and specialized organization in training and hosting people with IDD and providing them with choices, growth, and independence. They have created a Public Benefit Corporation to generate public awareness and provide opportunities for people with IDD, to develop their potential through employment.
